HOSPITALITY MINISTRY: As we celebrate Pentecost, members of our Parish Community Building team will be available at the information table after all Masses and would be delighted to speak with parishioners about opportunity of service as hostility ministers: ushers and welcomers at the weekend masses. Those interested in becoming involved in this important ministry are warmly encouraged to enquire. Thandi, Cara-Mia, Caitlyn, Evadne, Zaine, and Michelle will be available to answer questions and assist you. Please continue to keep an eye on the bulletin for such initiatives in the future, as together we build a welcoming and sustainable community.

VOCATION DISCERNMENT: Do you feel that the Lord may be stirring something in your heart towards priesthood or religious life? Fr Robert and Fr Paul would like to begin gathering with those who wish to prayerfully discern their vocation within the life of the Church. These gatherings will offer a space for prayer, conversation, guidance, encouragement, and fellowship as together we seek to listen more deeply to God’s call. Whether you are simply curious or beginning to ask questions about you vocation, you are most welcome. If you feel drawn to explore this journey, this weekend, you are welcome to approach Fr Paul or Fr Christian after any of the Masses this weekend. Alternatively, you may contact Fr Paul via email at cathedralassistant.adct@gmail.com or call the parish office during the week on 021 461 1167.

Pentecost GreetingAs we celebrate Pentecost this Sunday and bring the Easter Season to its joyful conclusion, we are filled with joy and thanksgiving and extend our sincere gratitude to all our parishioners for your faithful participation in the life of the Church throughout this sacred season of Easter.  From Ash Wednesday to this great Feast of Pentecost, your prayer, generosity, hard work, care, and dedication have been a beautiful witness to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit at work in our parish community and in the lives of its members.  We give special thanks to all those who participate in our ministries, volunteers, and parish groups for your tireless service and commitment, which have helped make our liturgies, celebrations, outreach, and community life so meaningful and prayerful. As we continue our journey of faith throughout the rest of this liturgical year, may the Holy Spirit continue to unite us as one body in Christ, strengthening us to live the Gospel with joy, courage, and love, and sending us forth to be witnesses of hope and faith in the world.  May the Lord continue to bless and strengthen each of you and your families throughout the year ahead and may Our Lady of the Flight into Egypt guide, protect and pray for us  Wishing each of you a blessed Solemnity of PentecostFr Robert, Fr Paul, Fr Christian and the PPC
