THANK YOU to all those that supported the youth, with the Mothers’ Day raffle. Three hampers were won by 3 lucky people. All funds raised by the youth will go toward sending a few of our youth to World Youth Day in 2027. Thank you once again.
SOLEMN VESPERS AND BENEDICTION: Will begin this weekend with the Solemn Vespers. They will begin at 16h00 and followed by Mass. Please let your family and friends know. We look forward to seeing you there.
PPC – PASTORAL PARISH COUNCIL: Meeting on Tuesday, 20 May at 18h30 and the Parish Centre.
AFRICA DAY CELEBRATION: We will be celebrating Africa Day on Sunday, 25 May this year. Please do let your family and friends know and let us celebrate our continent together.
SECOND COLLECTION: There will a second collection in aid of the Priests’ Sick Fund Collection on the weekend of 24-25 May. Envelopes will be available from the entrances to the Churches.
EQUESTIAN ORDER OF THE HOLY SEPHULCHRE OF JERUSALEM: The Vigil and Investiture of the Order will take place in the Cathedral on 23/24 May. Two of our Parishioners are being invested. All are welcome to attend the Ceremonies: Friday 18h00 and Saturday 10h00.
CHILD SAFEGUARDING: There will be a screening of the Archdiocesan video on Child Safeguarding in the Parish Hall on Sunday, 08 June, after the 10h00 Mass. All those in ministry are required to have watched this video. Please make sure that those who are in ministry, and have not watched the video, are in attendance. Child Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and we take compliance very seriously!

Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your Son, Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your kingdom.
May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the treasures of heaven. May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth. To you our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise for ever, Amen.
