PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:  Please be aware that next Monday and Friday are public holidays. As a result, there will be no lunchtime Masses at the Cathedral Chapel on these days. Instead, Mass will be celebrated at 08h00 at Villa Maria. Thank you for your understanding, and we wish everyone a peaceful and joyful Freedom and Workers Day!

FR ROBERT AWAY: Fr Robert will be away in Johannesburg, where he will be leading a Study Day for the Priests of Johannesburg. He will be returning on Thursday. We wish him a safe and fruitful trip.

CATECHISM MEETING: All catechism students and their parents or guardians to an important meeting this Sunday at 08h30. Your presence is very important as we will be discussing key matters and making important decisions for the programme. We kindly ask that everyone attends. SHONA CHOIR FUNDRAISING EVENT: We warmly invite you to join us this Sunday, 19 April, from 10h00 to 15h30, for a special fundraising event hosted by the Shona Choir. Enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music and entertainment as the choir presents highlights from their upcoming competition in Johannesburg. Delicious boerewors rolls, hot dogs, and refreshing soft drinks will be available for purchase. We sincerely hope you can join us to support the choir and share in this joyful occasion. CONSECRATION OF THE CATHEDRAL:  On 21 April, we mark the 75th Anniversary of the Consecration of our Cathedral. To ensure that everyone can participate fully and comfortably, our celebration will be postponed until we are able to return into the Cathedral. We look forward to combining this special occasion with the blessing following the major maintenance, as well as warmly welcoming Archbishop Sipuka as his Cathedral Parish. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

SECOND COLLECTION: We kindly invite you to participate in the second collection taking place at all Masses over the weekend of 25–26 April, in support of the Priests’ Medical Fund. CATHOLIC ENGAGED ENCOUNTER WEEKEND: We warmly invite engaged couples to join the upcoming Catholic Engaged Encounter Weekend, taking place from May 16–17 at the Salesian Institute, Cnr Chiappini and Somerset Road, Greenpoint, Cape Town. This is a non-residential programme, running from 08:00 to 20:00 on Saturday and from 08:00 to 14:30 on Sunday. The cost is R990 per couple. RETROVAILLE PROGRAMME: If you and your spouse are experiencing challenges or pain in your marriage, we invite you to consider attend the upcoming Retrouvaille weekend from 15–17 May. The programme is designed to support couples in restoring and strengthening their relationship. The cost is R3 000 per couple, which includes meals, materials, and accommodation.
