SHONA MASS: Will be celebrated this Sunday at 12h00 by Fr Chiedza Chimhanda SJ. All are welcome.
VISITING CHOIR: Next Sunday, 16 February, at the 10h00 Mass, the Grazer Kapellknaben Choir from Graz, Austria will sing the Mass. They are on a tour and have offered to sing the Mass. Please let your friends and family know – it should be quite an experience.
CATHEDRAL TOURS: Will be starting next week 15 February. Let us make sure that as a parish we are ready to welcome all pilgrims from day one.
CATHEDRAL LOGISTICS VOLUNTEERS: At our recent training session for Tour Guides, the need for parishioners to assist with logistics (coffee shop, selling books, crowd control) is also going to be essential. Some of the tour guides have opted to assist in this manner. Should you wish to offer your services in this ministry, please contact Fr Robert on cathedral.adct@gmail.com. Thank you. This would be a great opportunity for Sodalities and Parish groups to work together.
CATHEDRAL JUBILEE BOOKLETS: These are available at a cost of R50. Please purchase them in the Sacristy, a card machine will be available. We thank Kevin Beaumont for all his hard work in preparing the booklet, it is a magnificent keep sake and recommended as a memento for the Jubilee.
CATHEDRAL BROCHURE: The new “Walk through the Cathedral” Brochure is available at all the entrances. The Brochures are available for a donation. Please encourage visitors to the Cathedral to take one as you and they explore the wonders of our Cathedral.
BAPTISM: Dates has been set for baptism on either the weekend of the 22/23 February or at the Shona Mass on 2 March. A reminder that baptism Instruction will take place with Sr Glynnis on Sunday 16 February after the 10h00 Mass. Please make sure you attend.
ALTAR SERVERS: There will be a practice on Saturday 22 February from 10h00-12h30 in the Cathedral. This will take place in conjunction with the Cathedral tours.

- Our condolences to the family of Elizabeth Davis who passed away this last week. Her funeral will be in the Cathedral on Monday 10 February at 15h00.
THE SHORTENED JUBILEE PRAYER:
Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your Son, Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your kingdom.
May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the treasures of heaven. May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth. To you our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise for ever, Amen.
