MASS INTENTIONS:  There are envelopes made available at the entrance of the church, for those who would like a Mass offered. Please place in the collection box.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:  The Parish will celebrate First Holy Communions on the Feast of All Saints, Sunday 3 November 2024.  Please keep our young people in your prayers as they make their final preparations.

YOUTH ALPHA PROGRAMME: A strong urging and call to all Teens and Young Adults interested in the Youth Alpha Programme.  We are joining together with the District Six Parish and the course will take place in the District Six Parish Hall. You are welcome to invite your friends – they do not have to be Catholic or even Christian. If you are interested or someone you know is interested, please contact Zaine Perry on zaineperry@gmail.com as the course starts very soon.

SECOND COLLECTION: This weekend second collection is in aid of Mission Sunday. Envelopes are available at the entrances to the Church.   

BAPTISM CLASSES:  Baptism Preparation Class will be taking place on Sunday, 20 October at 11h30 in the Parish Hall.  Please note that both parents and godparents need to be present.  

SOLEMN VESPERS AND BENEDICTION:  This Sunday, 20 October at 16h00 in the Cathedral, it is well worth attending as it will be sung by the Cathedral Choir.  Please let your family and friends know.

YOUTH FUNDRAISER – CAKE SALE –  MEET & GREET

The Youth will be hosting a Cake Sale to raise funds on Sunday 10th November after the 10h00 Mass in the Parish Hall. This will be combined with the Parish “Meet and Greet” sharing a cup of tea or coffee with other parishioners (FREE tea and coffee).

Donations of any form such as cakes, tarts, cupcakes, biscuits, swiss rolls, miniature pies, samoosas etc will be greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing a cup of tea or coffee with you. Any queries contact zaineperry@gmail.com

ZIMBABWEAN COMMUNITY – ROSARY SESSION:  On Sunday, 27 October a Rosary Session will be held from 11h00 to 13h00 in the Parish Hall.  All is welcome.

Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your Son, Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your kingdom.

May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the treasures of heaven.  May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the

earth.  To you our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise for ever, Amen.
