1st Reading: Isaiah 40:1-5.9-11. Resp. Psalm: Ps 85:9-14. ℟: Let us see, O Lord, your mercy and grant us your salvation. 2nd Reading: 2 Peter 3:8-14. Gospel acclamation: Prepare the way for the Lord, make his paths straight; all flesh shall see the salvation of God. Gospel: Mark 1:1-8.
THE ARCHBISHOP’S ADVENT APPEAL: There will be a second collection on all the Sundays of Advent for the pastoral and building needs of the Archdiocese. Please take your set of envelopes that is available at the entrance.
SVP FOOD DRIVE: The St Vincent de Paul Society has started a “bring a to Mass” drive for those in our parish for whom Christmas will be bleak given the price of food. Please see list on the Notice Board of groceries to be donation. Thank you.
