YOUTH CAKE SALE-(Fundraiser): The youth will be hosting a cake sale on Saturday, 26th July from 08:30 am to 13:00 pm and on Sunday, 27th July from 11:00 am to 13:00 pm. On the Sunday, the 27th July during this time will also serve as a Meet & Greet. The funds are in aid of Youth attending World Youth Day in South Korea in 2027. Everyone is welcome.
PLANNED GIVING: We have relaunched the Planned Giving program in the parish! Huge thanks and blessings for every cent we receive from parishioners and visitors. Without this support we could not fund the mission of our Parish. This mission work requires PLANNING! By committing financially, in a structured way, to support the Church’s mission you allow us to turn the PLAN into ACTION!

SSVP (SOCIETY OF SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL): Thank you to everyone who joined the last Knitathon. There will be another Knitathon happening on Saturday the 26th July, at the Secret Garden Coffee shop – Parish Centre. The knitters are desperately in need of wool. If anyone is able to donate wool, please drop it off at the Cathedral or Cathedral office, during the week. If anyone would like to donate second hand books please also drop them off at the Cathedral office. Financial donations can be paid directly into the SVP banking account. Thank you!

ARCHDIOCESAN CELEBRATION OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY: This celebration will be held at Lansdowne Parish on Sunday, 17 August 2025, with the following program: 14:30 PM – Recitation of the Holy Rosary followed at 15:00 PM – Liturgical Celebration (Please note: this is not a Holy Mass)
