1st Reading: Leviticus 13:1-2.44-46.  Resp. Psalm:  Psalm 32:1-2.5.11   R/.   You are a hiding place for me; you surround me with deliverance.  2nd Reading: 1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1.   Gospel acclamation: A great prophet has arisen among us, and God has visited his people.  Gospel: Mark 1:40-45.

CATECHETICAL FORMATION PROGRAMME (CFP) 2024

The Catechetical Formation Programme is an initial training programme for new catechists and those who need to upgrade their catechetical knowledge and skills.  It is an 8 Session Programme, together with a Retreat, with one session a month, beginning in February and ending in December: Starts 10 February: Session 1 – Call and Vocation Please contact michelleperryf@gmail.com if

ALMSGIVING DURING LENT: Once again, we will be collecting boxes of long-life full-cream milk for the feeding scheme at St Mary’s School. Please leave your donations at the Cathedral, Nazareth House or Villa Maria.

ASH WEDNESDAY: there will be four Masses in the parish on Ash Wednesday, 14 February 2024: 07h00 Villa Maria, 07h00 Nazareth House, 13h10 Cathedral, 19h00 Cathedral. Please note that Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence.

FOREIGN CURRENCY FUNDRAISER: If you have any old or foreign currency (coins or notes) at home that you do not use, please consider donating it to the parish. You are welcome to drop them into the collection boxes or bring them to the office. We will then have them exchanged and will use the proceeds for the needs of the parish. Thank you for your support.

THE ANNUAL DAY FOR THE SICK, AGED, AND PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED will be held on 17 February at Schoenstatt Constantia. This is a wonderful event; we would appreciate your help promoting it. Please see the attached poster for your reference.  Everyone is invited to bring a packed lunch, but we also offer a home-cooked meal on the day. If you would like to order this meal, please do so by 14 February. (See notice board for further details).
