THE SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY – YEAR C
First Reading: Revelation 11:19a.12:1-6a.10ab; Resp. Psalm: Ps 45, ℟: On your right stands the queen in gold of Ophir. Second Reading: 1 Corinthians 15:20-27; Gospel Acclamation: Mary has been taken up into heaven; the host of angels rejoices. Gospel: Luke 1:39-56.
PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL: The nomination period for the election of the new three-year term of the PPC has elapsed. A poster display with all 13 candidates (6 dropped out or did not consent to being nominated) will be put up soon. Elections will be held in October.
ZIMBABWEAN MASS: This Sunday 21 August at 12 noon at the Cathedral.
PARISH TEA SOCIAL: next Sunday 28 August after the 10h00 Mass. All are invited. Tea, coffee, etc are free, a donation afterwards will be appreciated.
