The Archdiocese of Cape Town has prepared a simple step by step video clip regarding the Covid-19 measures to be put in place in all our Churches. Please note that not every detail can be covered and we must also use common sense. What is important is that the Church must be wiped down after every Mass, anything people may have touched should be wiped with a cloth containing alcohol or bleach.
Our Cathedral parish will also have a Covid-19 officer who will have the responsibility to ensure that all the requirements are in place such as to take temperatures, do the registration, fill in the questionnaire and put the sanitizer on hands – the video clip clearly shows how this should be done.
